FUCK YOU MARVEL ! How dare they misuse such a great character concept is beyond me!

APOCALYPSE IS THE MAN! He is freaking awesome. You think Magneto has angst? bah he's a pissy little kid compared to Nur. You think Sinister has suffered?bah he caused his own suffering ! You think Juggernaut is powerful? bah not the only one! "As the sandstorm cleaves the flesh from the bones of the dead, as the wrath of Rama-Tut cannot be compared to that of a god, So am I above all others on this earth. Thusly did I live in those ancient days. I have learned much since then. But in my centuries of life, I have never forgotten one thing. ONLY THE STRONG HAVE THE RIGHT TO LIFE! As my father Baal taught me in the only way he knew, so do I teach the people of the world. If I must cull the weak to make the strong, I shall do so gladly. IF THE PEOPLES OF THE EARTH ARE TOO WEAK TO SURVIVE ME, THEN THEY DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO EXIST. FOR I AM THE APOCALYPSE, AND ONLY THE STRONG SHALL SURVIVE ME! BY MY STRENGTH, BY MY POWER, BY MY WRATH, DOES THE POWER OF GODS STRENGTHEN MANKIND! By blood, by war, by destruction, DO I EMPOWER MUTANTKIND AND MANKIND! Fear my name and quake in terror of my coming, FOR I AM THE HIGH LORD, APOCALYPSE!"
I love what drives him, I love his history, I love just the whole character. The worlds first mutant. Sort of a god-like unbeatable foe. He plays things in the backround, pulls a lot of strings and only shows his true face when needed. I like how he works through others, like his Horsemen.

Theme song; Street figher 2 OST shadaloo/ End of all hope by Nightwish

The Best stories :

- Louise Simonson 's X-factor, proof why she's a better writer than Claremont. In X-factor 24, 2 pages explain his real modus operandi & his intention of testing mankind
- X-cutioner song ,That entire arc, although it can be construed as a bad showing, is actually one of his best. It demonstrates his enormous will power and superior intellect. It also shows that Apocalypse lives by a code different from other supervillains and that guys like Magneto, or Sinister, etc, would not have had the strength to do the feats he did in that arc, if they were weakened to the same extent.
-Age of Apocalypse : not only his costume is perfect in it but it really shows what would happen if his philosophy improves mankind...
- Onslaught : such sweet interractions with Cable, Invisible Woman & Uatu, great stuff...
- Incredible Hulk #455-457: SRSLY he's more of a father to Bruce Banner than anyone since he established a parallel between him & the Hulk
- Rise Of Apocalypse: I never felt like it got its due. It was an amazing story that really brought out the personality and character of Apocalypse. It really does cast everything he does in a different light. He's a man from a different era, trying to hold onto a code that almost everyone thinks is barbaric and cruel, when to him, it's the only way to ensure the human race can survive and prosper.
-The Adventures of Cyclops and Pheonix miniseries. It was a wonderful Cable & Stryfe origin story and Gene Ha's interpretation of Apocalypse was totally awesome. Very eerie and strange, very mysterious and alien, and gave the impression of power and longevity, & the possession ritual is just frightening!
-Cable #66-68 The Hellfire Club awakens Apocalypse's long-hidden Harbinger from its deep sleep; originally a normal man, whom Apocalypse in the 19th century once left to incubate for 100 years. Apocalypse releases his Horseman (Caliban) and his scribe Ozymandias from his possession, to fend for themselves, if they were to survive the coming events. Cable with the Avengers battles the Harbinger, but are unable to stop it. Apocalypse then appears, activating a bomb inside the Harbinger which would destroy all of New York, but Cable manages to prevent this disaster.
- X-factor forever ( yeah it 's in its own canon but read it, it is pure awesomeness!)

The oufits :
1)Classic costume
2)Young En Sabah Nur
3)Askani timeline version
4)19th century design
5) CANON (his perfected & improved. Ah Cable, hope your gamble will work well since you let him come back to life)

The Best Artists
1)Walt Simonson (most Iconic Cover Ever!)
2)Andy Kubert (imposing & wise figure)
3)Joe Madureira (really needs to draw him more)
4)Salvador Larocca
5)Adam Pollina/ John Paul Leon (for the 2 great designs ...)

Now I shall bring the purity of oblivion on those who dare insult the greatness of the Lord & Master himself...

I wonder...what if Apocalypse is Wolverine's ancestor? Maybe he gets his own longevity as a watered down version of En Sabah Nur. Or maybe they have the same longevity. Apocalypse does spend much of his time in stasis, so it could be a way to prolong his life
