°°° WARNING : This picture is actually 4 months old , but I could not post it without the proper preparation due to my own insecurities °°°

Let us go back to my childhood and to what I consider one of the best uses of the classic toons in a long time : Tiny Toons adventures !
Now to those who were sleeping in the back I'll explain: Tiny Toons is about a second generation of young Toons who are kid-like versions of Looney Tunes. They attend a school called Acme Looneversity where the original Looney Tune characters are teachers. They teach Buster, Babs and the other Tiny Toons on how to become the 2nd generation of Toons and they earn a diploma of Lunacy when they graduate. If they're not at school, the young toons are out having adventures that are often parodies of popular movies, TV shows, comic books (bear in mind that the Golden age toons are written with their personalities intact , which is a feat !)

While my favorite character on the show is pretty obvious , here are some of my favorite episodes :

The Looney Beginning: A decent introduction to the show

The Wheel O' Comedy is pretty good. And Test Stress is pretty cartoony, perhaps due to the direction of John K. protege Rich Arons.

Toons from the crypt

Her Wacky Highness

Starting From Scratch

Prom-ise her Anything

Animaniacs! is a tour-de-force in explaining the animation process, even has a small reference to the storyboard-vs.-script controversy.

Citizen Max : I prefer Max to Elmyra by 10 miles and this episode cements why...

Inside Plucky Duck is worth watching just for the first segment, Bat's All Folks, a real treat for Batman fans (and note that it was made by Paul Dini and Bruce Timm just before B:TAS started)
.
The two music video episodes (Tiny Toon Music Television and Toon TV) are definite watermarks.

K-ACME TV and Acme Cable TV are jam-packed with hilarious fake commericals and the like.

Buster and Babs Go Hawaiian is definitely memorable.

Furrball follies

Thirteensomething

Two-Tone Town is everything the Honey episode should have been (and it's not so historically inaccurate, other than pairing up Goopy Geer with Foxy, which never happened in the golden age).

Washingtoon has a great speech about how homogenized, passive cartoons insult the audience's intelligence that may move you even if you don't think TTA follows it.

It's a Wonderful Tiny Toons Christmas Special is a fitting conclusion to the series.

Quack in the Quarks

Test stresed

Hollywood Plucky

Journey To The Center of Acme Acres

Buster & The Wolverine

And the absolute best episode of all time and space is

How I spent my vacation ; I watched this as an adult and it had a great impact on me ! In short Buster and Babs turn a water fight into a white-water rafting trip through the dangerous Deep South; Plucky and Hamton share the most impossibly awful car journey imaginable on the way to HappyWorldLand; Fifi's blind date becomes a "skunknophobic" nightmare; and a safari park is turned upside-down by Elmyra's search for "cute little kitties to hug and squeeze". What 's not to love ?

And the absolute worst are : Anvil chorus (which could have at one detail be saved but...) and the Spring special .

Wanna comment kids ? Wanna know why the characters are drawn that way ?, be my guests , I hunger for your comments ! XD
